About Sumary

At Sumary, we are rebuilding finance from first principles.

We are an AI-native fintech backed by byFounders, Partech and Tenity in the largest fintech pre-seed round ever raised in Denmark, on a mission to eliminate broken financial workflows and define the future of autonomous finance.

We sit on top of the ledgers accounting firms already use (Xero, QuickBooks, Business Central) and run the work that eats their month: every line of every transaction checked against the firm's rules, reconciliations prepared from source, anomalies flagged, variances explained. The firm keeps the judgment. We do everything underneath it.

We are a small team across Copenhagen and London.

This is a rare opportunity to join at the very beginning: to help build a new category of financial infrastructure, work hands-on with leading accounting firms, and shape how finance teams across Europe will work in the coming decade.

Why Sumary

  • The market. Every company in the world closes its books, every month. Accounting is one of the largest professional services markets there is, and almost none of the work has been automated.
  • The customers. We work with some of the largest accounting firms in the Nordics and the UK, on their live client books.
  • The team. Founders and engineers from McKinsey, Uber, Encord and Pleo, alongside ML PhDs and qualified accountants.
  • The backing. byFounders, Partech and Tenity, in the largest fintech pre-seed round ever raised in Denmark.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The role

Forward Deployed Accountants are the reason our customers succeed. You know how a close actually runs, so you are the person who can walk into a firm, understand how they work, and rebuild that way of working inside Sumary.

It is a mix of implementation and customer success. You will spend your time with controllers, bookkeepers and CFOs, in their systems and often in their offices, taking a firm from a signed pilot to a team that would not go back.

What you will do

  • Onboard new firms: connect their ledgers, learn their standards, and configure agents to their own way of working
  • Run pilots end to end, including the measurement that produces the firm's internal business case
  • Sit with the people doing the work, find where the product breaks against reality, and get it fixed
  • Bring the field back to the product team; you will have more influence on the roadmap than anyone
  • Become the trusted expert your accounts call before they call anyone else

You might be a good fit if

  • You trained at a Big Four or a top-tier firm, in audit, outsourcing or advisory, and you are qualified or close to it
  • You are outgoing and comfortable in a room with a partner, a CFO and a sceptical bookkeeper at the same time
  • You get impatient with manual process and have quietly automated parts of your own job
  • You want to be technical without being an engineer, and you learn tools quickly

Come help define and build the future of finance.
