Forward deployed agentic engineer (contractor, remote)

Financial institutions already have capable AI tools. What they tend to lack is teams who can use them to their full potential, and robust, reliable workflows with effective guardrails, governance and safety embedded.

This role covers both: building the client's capability, and co-designing the agentic workflows that matter most.

About Rayify

Rayify designs agentic AI workflows and decision intelligence systems for regulated financial services, covering insurance, credit and private markets. Our systems deploy inside clients' own infrastructure and train on their proprietary data. We build them to be auditable for boards and regulators, so outputs stay traceable and secure and clients can manage risk while still getting insight from their data.

What you'll do

Build client capability

  • Help technical and non-technical teams get real value from the AI tools already available to them. This is hands-on enablement, not slideware
  • Run working sessions with business stakeholders, pair with client engineers, and translate between the two

Co-design and ship agentic workflows

  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and turn them into AI-driven workflows and decision intelligence systems, starting where the impact is largest
  • Design and implement back-end services, and integrate agentic AI components with existing client systems, covering APIs, microservices and secure system integration
  • Keep solutions inside regulatory, security and auditability standards: data boundaries, model risk, audit trails
  • Write clean, maintainable code, review code, troubleshoot production issues, and optimise for reliability and scalability
  • Document technical designs, support deployment on client infrastructure (cloud or on-prem), and coordinate with our product and data teams

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
