Why causaLens
We are on a mission to automate advanced knowledge work that takes place in front of computers. So that we can all spend more time with customers, new products, more interesting work, and family, not inside CRMs, ERPs and spreadsheets.
We pioneer Digital Knowledge Workers, multi-agentic systems that reliably automate end-to-end workflows. Some examples are here: causalens.com/our-digital-worker-blueprints
We have raised $51M from top VCs and top angel investors, including the CEO of Revolut. 3x ARR growth last year. One of the hottest AI scaleups in London.
Unique IP in multi-agentic reliability. Read more on agentic data mesh, agentic QA, memory, and more here: causalens.com/the-reliability-features
Unique IP in causal reasoning: causalens.com/causal-reasoning-lab. Causal reasoning helps with reliability and advanced reasoning. That is where we started our journey. In 2025 we combined causal with agentic AI into the concept of Digital Knowledge Workers that reliably automate end-to-end processes.
You will be working on the cutting edge of AI for the enterprise.
Ownership. Fast-paced environment, team of ~20 engineers. You will be given the opportunity to fast-track your career, get a lot of ownership quickly and prove yourself.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Role
We are hiring AI Engineers to build and deploy enterprise-grade AI systems and Digital Workers in production. You will work closely with global organisations, embedding with clients to untangle complex workflows and translate them into reliable, scalable agentic systems, integrating models, data and enterprise infrastructure into solutions that operate in real-world environments.
What you'll bring
- Proven hands-on experience building production-grade solutions using LLMs, RAG pipelines, MCPs and agentic workflows
- A forward-deployed, client-first mindset, with experience working directly with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Strong delivery capabilities, with the ability to translate complex business problems into scalable AI systems
- A track record of delivering measurable impact through applied AI
What you'll not do
- R&D in the lab, isolated from customers
- Product or platform development. There is a separate team internally for this
Our stack
Python, modern LLM frameworks, orchestration tools, and cloud platforms including AWS, GCP and Azure. We deploy anywhere as a Docker image.
You will contribute to systems spanning LLMs, multi-agent coordination, retrieval and reasoning, and enterprise data integration. Software that automates workflows and takes action, rather than producing static outputs.
