What we do
TYTEN automates the back office for facilities management companies. Facilities management is the work that keeps buildings and infrastructure usable: the lifts running, the water safe, the air clean, a hospital or a hotel simply working for the people inside it. Done well, nobody notices it at all. The industry is worth $3 trillion worldwide, and $226 billion of that goes on back-office salaries alone. That is the spend we automate.
That back office is scattered across several systems. Facilities management providers run a CAFM system, which is the scheduling and work-order platform at the centre of the business, an accounting system, and a set of shared mailboxes. We sit across all three and orchestrate the work between them, taking over the manual coordination that erodes their margin: work orders, quoting, planned maintenance, compliance, procurement, reporting, and invoicing. Twenty-five modules are live in production today.
We spent more than 600 hours shadowing technicians and helpdesk teams before writing a line of code, so the product is purpose-built for facilities management rather than a generic AI tool retrofitted to it. We are venture backed, and we closed our most recent round in December 2025, with investment from Concrete Ventures, Fuel Ventures, Antler, and a number of excellent angel investors.
This is a chance to apply AI to the physical world, to the buildings and infrastructure that touch everyone's lives every day.
Why we are hiring
We are hiring to onboard more clients while keeping our service and solution quality high. We have served 157,000 work orders so far, and that number grows every day. We also manage more than 6,000 field-service contractors on behalf of our clients, and over the last six months volume has risen 6.6 times and revenue 5.5 times. This is the role that lets us do more of it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you will be doing
- Own client onboarding from end to end, from the first workshop to a live, adopted system.
- Sit with facilities managers, helpdesk staff, and engineers, and learn how their operation actually runs, not how the process document says it runs.
- Roll clients out module by module, starting in a staging environment and expanding scope as confidence builds.
- Translate what a client asks for into what the system should do, and then make the change yourself.
- Build client-specific features and configurations where they unlock the account, and feed the reusable ones back into the core product.
- Stay across each account: what is live, what is being used, what is not working, and what the client will need next.
- Work alongside our product and engineering teams, so that client reality shapes the roadmap rather than surprising it.
What we are looking for
- At least two years in a client-facing engineering role, such as forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, implementation, or technical consulting.
- A track record of taking a client from kickoff to live, including the awkward middle where scope moves and the data is not what anyone promised.
- Proficiency in Python, and real comfort with REST APIs and webhooks.
- Capable with SQL and data work, including the unglamorous kind where the source data is wrong.
- The instinct to ask why a client wants something before building it, and the judgement to know when to configure, when to build, and when to push back.
- Able to explain a technical constraint to an operations director without losing them, and to write requirements an engineer can act on.
- Comfortable working amid ambiguity, because client requirements will change beneath you.
- Willing to travel to client sites in the United Kingdom, and occasionally internationally.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom already, as we are unable to sponsor visas.

Helpful, but not essential
- Facilities management, property technology, or field service experience.
- Enterprise software delivery, particularly into multi-site operations.
- Having shipped products built on AI, and a realistic sense of where they break.
Package
- The salary is £55,000 to £70,000 gross, together with EMI share options. Salary grows as the company grows, and we intend to grow fast.
- Private health cover is provided through AXA Health. It includes extensive outpatient care, therapies, mental health support, a private GP service, an employee assistance programme, dental and optician cashback, and worldwide travel cover.
- Our office is at 146 Buckingham Palace Road, Victoria, in central London, with a great many places to eat nearby. We moved in recently and are still fitting it out, so you will have a say in how it comes together.
- Working is hybrid, although most of us choose to come in, because we find it more productive and a good deal more fun.
- We run team events and socials, and we are doing more of them as the team grows.
- You will travel regularly to client sites, both within the United Kingdom and overseas as we take on our clients' international operations, and all of it is expensed.
