Role Description
Avyn is hiring a September cohort of Forward Deployed Analysts to work on-site in London. You will sit between the investment teams using Avyn and the code that powers the platform.
This is a hands-on building role. You will work directly with venture capital and private equity teams to understand how they operate, identify parts of their workflows that are slow or ineffective, and ship practical solutions. One day you may be embedded in a fund’s sourcing process; the next, you may be building and deploying the feature that improves it.

You will own the full loop from identifying a problem to putting a working solution in front of the customer. At Avyn, that loop is measured in days and often in hours. You will have meaningful autonomy, work closely with customers and the internal team, and help shape both the product and how it is deployed.

Qualifications
- You must be following Avyn here on LinkedIn to be considered for the role (so we know if you read this far).
- Strong understanding of computer science and software architecture, with the ability to read a system and identify where it may fail.
- Ability to build, test, debug, and ship practical software solutions.
- Experience working in a startup, venture capital, private equity, or another fast-moving operational environment is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of how investment teams source, assess, and engage opportunities is beneficial.
- Ability to work directly with customers, understand real workflows, and translate problems into working products.
- Strong ownership and execution skills, with a bias toward shipping rather than simply proposing ideas.
- Clear communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable making decisions in a high-autonomy environment.
- Evidence of things you have built and shipped, such as a live product, open-source project, GitHub repository, or internal tool.
- Based in London or able to work on-site in the London office.
- Available to join the September cohort.
