Otto is redefining how financial advisers work.
We’re building the copilot for wealth managers — an AI-powered platform that automates manual tasks like meeting transcription, report writing, onboarding, and client communications. Otto frees up advisers to focus on what matters most: building relationships and delivering personalised advice.
Our mission is to modernise the wealth management industry, replacing outdated systems with intelligent, seamless workflows. We believe in building high-leverage tools that enable small teams to have an outsized impact — both for our customers and within our own company. We’re a fast-growing, Sequoia-backed startup already making waves in the wealth management industry — recently featured in the Financial Times for our pioneering work in Agentic AI.
About the job
We're looking for a talented forward deployed engineer to join our engineering team to provide white-glove deployment support for Otto products in enterprise environments.
Your time will be spent working between our Dev team and customers on:
- Building bespoke AI pipelines for document processing and agentic research.
- Creating dynamic UIs that respond to the user’s particular needs and client base.
- Setting up integrations with customer infrastructure + advising on best practices.
- Helping with discovery work to ensure customer success throughout the onboarding phases and beyond.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
