The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join an innovative programme focused on delivering an AI-native Contract-to-Cash platform. This is a hands-on engineering role working at the intersection of technology and business, where you will help design, build, deploy and optimise AI-driven solutions that automate and enhance critical finance processes.
You will work directly with stakeholders, product teams, QA, and business users to implement AI agent capabilities, develop enterprise integrations, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure solutions operate effectively in live production environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agent capabilities using modern LLM technologies and orchestration frameworks
- Develop and extend AI-driven workflows across booking, billing, collections and finance operations
- Implement Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflows including approvals, escalations and exception handling
- Build and maintain backend services using Go
- Develop frontend functionality using React and TypeScript
- Design and integrate APIs, agent tools and workflow orchestration services
- Build and support enterprise integrations with SAP, Microsoft Graph, internal platforms and third-party applications
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues across the full technology stack
- Analyse logs, traces and monitoring data to identify and resolve production issues
- Develop resilient and scalable integration patterns including retries, error handling and message recovery mechanisms
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to testing
