🚀 Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) | Full-Stack, Python & TypeScript | AI/ML Testing & Certification Platform
🌍 Shoreditch, London (On-site 5 days/week) | 📄 Permanent, Full-Time |
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, high-velocity Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join a rapidly scaling startup modernizing mission-critical testing and certification across aerospace, medical devices, robotics, and industrial infrastructure. Backed by an oversubscribed $4.5M seed round led by tier-1 funds (investors behind Spotify, Klarna, Coinbase) and already deployed in six of the ten largest companies in the sector, this team is replacing legacy workflows (Word, PDFs, email) with modern software platforms. You will work directly with enterprise clients, owning the technical delivery end-to-end and shipping to production from week one.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Partnering directly with enterprise customers to understand operational workflows, translating complex problem spaces into scalable technical architectures.
- Taking complete end-to-end ownership of product delivery: specifying, architecting, building, and deploying full-stack features and AI integrations.
- Shipping high-quality code to production in week one with zero multi-month ramp-up friction.
- Collaborating closely with an elite technical team composed of alumni from Google X, Yandex, and McKinsey.
- Paving a direct pathway into technical leadership as the company doubles headcount.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
