ABOUT HASH

At HASH, we're building infrastructure to solve information failure [https://hash.ai/about/mission] and help everybody make the right decisions. Our open-source platform helps firms integrate both structured and unstructured information into knowledge graphs that support simulating, optimizing and automating processes.

We’re building towards world models from a radically different perspective to most AI labs. Our founders include Joel Spolsky (former founder of Stack Overflow; acq. $1.8bn, and Trello; acq. $425m), Jude Allred (former CTO of Glitch) and Dei Vilkinsons (former CEO of Soho Strategy).

ABOUT THE ROLE

In the last 6 months we've seen significant growth and are now scaling fast. We're hiring Forward-Deployed Engineers in London to help build real-world applications for our customers utilizing HASH's technology.

This is a highly technical, customer-facing role for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of AI, systems thinking, and problem-solving. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their goals, translate complex business problems into robust technical solutions, and help them realize value quickly.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong technical ability, with experience shipping software, or building AI systems in production: prior AI/ML engineering, data engineering, applied AI, or product engineering experience is a hard requirement — specifically you'll require expert (Staff+) level knowledge of TypeScript
  • Ability to work directly with customers and own complex problem-solving end to end: you'll interface with external stakeholders and will need to draw upon social intelligence, business context, and technical insight in your work — demonstrating clear, structured communication.
  • Strong judgment, high agency, and a bias toward execution: comfort operating in fast-moving environments with a high degree of ambiguity
  • Genuine interest in helping customers succeed, not just shipping technology: results-oriented and impact-motivated; many of our engagements are priced based on the results we deliver, as is compensation in this role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
