Forward Deployed Engineer

Hardware Track

Revel · Los Angeles, San Francisco, London (Travel: 30–50%)

About Revel

At Revel, we are revolutionizing the way the world’s most critical hardware is controlled—across aerospace, automotive, energy, and manufacturing sectors. Our next-generation software stack combines:

  • An intuitive command/control interface
  • A specialized programming language tailored for hardware control
  • A high-performance runtime environment

We empower engineers to build, test, and deploy critical systems rapidly, reliably, and safely.

The Role

Forward Deployed Engineers are Revel’s most embedded technical presence with customers. You’ll be the person who makes Revel real by:

  • Showcasing our software at customer sites
  • Writing code alongside their teams in real-world environments
  • Building deep technical partnerships to drive long-term success

This is not a support role—it’s a high-ownership position blending software engineering and business strategy at the intersection of mission-critical hardware.

What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end deployment of Revel at customer sites (integrating with test stands, sensors, actuators, and existing infrastructure)
  • Build and grow deep technical relationships with customer engineering teams by:
    • Understanding their hardware requirements
    • Expanding the Revel partnership over time
    • Delivering hands-on training with RevelCode, dashboard development, and technical support
  • Translate field learnings into direct product feedback for Revel’s Head of Product
  • Travel 30–50% (primarily California, with broader domestic/International assignments)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
