Xcede Exclusive Partnership Opportunity
Xcede has partnered exclusively with a company that just closed a $100M Series funding round at a $1B+ valuation, building the real-time voice and video infrastructure behind the next generation of AI applications. The platform already powers the voice and agentic AI experiences of some of the most recognisable consumer and AI brands in the world, handling billions of real-time interactions every year across tens of thousands of developers, and the Forward Deployed Engineering function is now expanding across Europe to support a growing base of customers in the region.
We're Hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer
Based remotely in the UK, you will work directly with the engineering teams of some of the world's most ambitious companies as they build on top of the platform.
In This Role You Will:
- Sit shoulder-to-shoulder with the engineering teams building some of the most talked-about AI products on the planet, solving real problems live, not from behind a ticket queue
- Own genuinely ambiguous, high-stakes technical problems end-to-end, the kind with no existing playbook because nobody's operated at this scale before
- Get hands-on inside systems processing billions of real-time voice and video interactions a year, debugging and shipping fixes under real production pressure
- Be the direct link between the world's most advanced AI teams and our own roadmap, what you see in the field shapes what gets built next
- Operate with total autonomy in a fast-moving, low-process environment, no red tape, no waiting for permission, just real ownership from day one

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
