About Us
Move is an embedded talent consultancy on a mission to grow the most exciting companies in the world. We put exceptional recruiters inside the companies where hiring has become the thing holding everything else back, and we back those recruiters with AI that we build ourselves.
Our clients are the kind of companies you want to work with: AI-native businesses, frontier labs, and the teams building technology that change people's lives. What they have in common is a moment, where ambition has run ahead of their ability to hire for it, and that's usually when they call us.
Our team spans the UK, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, the USA, Asia and South Africa. We're remote-first and globally minded, and we're closer than most teams that share an office.
What Being Forward-Deployed Means Here
You'll be embedded inside the client, working as one of them: their standups, their systems, their hiring managers and their bar. You'll own the roles from end to end, and you'll represent their brand alongside ours.
We've partnered with the most innovative Recruitment AI companies in the world, and built our own suite of agents that takes the laborious work off your plate, so that you can focus on the most human and impactful parts of the job: talking to candidates, and talking to the business.
We think a recruiter with that kind of support behind them is capable of far more than the market currently expects, and that the bar goes up rather than down. We're building the team that proves it.
The Role: Why This Job Exists
We help companies build the teams that build the product, and technical hiring is where the bar sits highest and the market runs thinnest. The engineers you'll be approaching are rarely looking, usually happy where they are, and always in demand, so the work turns on how well you understand what they actually do and how convincingly you can explain why this problem is worth their time.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You'll own full-cycle hiring for the roles that carry it: software engineering, AI and machine learning, infrastructure, data and product.
What You'll Do
- Run exceptional intakes that are structured, deep, and specific enough to make everything downstream easier
- Own technical roles from search strategy through to offer, inside the client's team and their systems
- Headhunt engineers who aren't looking, with agents giving you reach while the judgement about who to approach, and what to say to them, stays yours
- Build real technical credibility, enough to hold your own on the stack, the architecture and the problem, and enough for engineers to take you seriously
- Coach hiring managers through calibration, interview design and feedback, including founders and CTOs with high expectations who'll thank you for the challenge
- Build hiring foundations with enough structure and process to move at pace, and no more than that
- Report honestly on pipeline health, where the process is winning, where it's losing people, and what you're doing about it
How You'll Work With AI
Every recruiter at Move has a baseline of AI training that we build ourselves and partner with externally. You'll be exposed to the most forward thinking AI businesses and technologies in recruiting.

What You'll Bring
- Experience hiring technical talent at a high bar, across software engineering, AI and machine learning, infrastructure or data, in businesses where the bar was never up for negotiation
- Evidence that you've leaned into AI to get better at the job, with a view on what it does well and where it falls over
- Opinions that are well formed and loosely held, and open to being changed by evidence
- Composure in ambiguity and the instinct to bring order to it, whether that's a new client, no process, or high expectations in week one
- Communication backed by logic and data, especially with the hiring manager who disagrees with you
- Curiosity that compounds, because you want to be smarter in six months than you are today
- UK-based, and able to get into London for client days and the occasional team session
Why Join Us
- Work with some of the most ambitious companies in tech, on roles that visibly move their business
- A company-funded Claude account, paid AI training and certification, and the tooling behind it
- A remote-first team that celebrates the wins out loud
