AI Forward Deployed Engineer
Role Overview
We are looking for an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to embed directly with our banking industry-facing clients. In this fast-paced, hands-on role, you will rapidly prototype, build, and ship production-grade AI solutions tailored to real-world financial services environments and system constraints.
What You'll Be Doing
- Hands-On Development: Design, build, and deploy production software solutions, moving from concept to working code in days.
- Client Collaboration: Embed directly with customer teams to lead discovery, translate business needs into technical designs, and manage the end-to-end solution lifecycle.
- AI & Integration: Apply modern AI, machine learning, and agentic automation concepts within existing enterprise cloud and data constraints.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
- Continuous Improvement: Feed field learnings back to core engineering teams and contribute to reusable code assets and best practices.

What You'll Bring

- Experience: 6–8 years in software engineering, solution architecture, or customer engineering, with a strong, demonstrable background in hands-on coding.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Domain Knowledge: Practical experience within banking or financial services (e.g., retail/commercial banking, lending, payments, fraud prevention, AML/KYC, and risk management).
- AI Expertise: Working knowledge of AI, machine learning, and responsible AI considerations in regulated environments (model governance, explainability, data lineage).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and consulting capabilities to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience); relevant cloud/AI certifications are a plus.
