The SZC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project. #SZCJobsOpportunity for a Forward Tipping Dumper Driver (Sizewell C) working for Ballycommon on the Sizewell C Project
Main Duties:
- Operating forward tipping dumpers safely and efficiently across an active construction site
- Hauling and tipping earth, stone, aggregates and spoil to designated locations
- Supporting groundworks, civils and muckaway teams as directed
- Conducting pre-start checks and reporting mechanical issues to plant fitters or supervisors
- Working in coordination with banksmen, 360 operators, and other plant operatives
- Maintaining awareness of pedestrians, vehicles and plant movements in a busy, high-risk environment
- Following all site-specific safety and environmental procedures, especially within a nuclear-regulated zone

Qualifications/Experience:
- CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo) for Forward Tipping Dumper
- Valid Right to Work in the UK
- Full PPE
- Safety-critical medical (or willingness to obtain)
- Proven experience operating forward tipping dumpers on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Previous work on large-scale or high-security construction sites (e.g. highways, nuclear, rail) preferred
- SC or BPSS clearance (or willingness to undergo security vetting)
- Additional tickets (e.g. Ride-On Roller, 360 Excavator)
- Experience working on nuclear-licensed or nationally significant infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with working under the direction of ground teams and site supervisors
- Understanding of plant safety protocols and on-site traffic coordination
