Are you a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and an interest in logistics, supply chain, or agriculture?
We have an exciting opportunity to join our forwarding operations team at Criddle, where you’ll play a key role in coordinating the movement of raw materials across the UK.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role offering real responsibility and the chance to develop both your operational and commercial expertise within a collaborative business.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be central to keeping the supply chain running smoothly by:
- Coordinating the movement of raw materials into animal feed mills across the UK
- Managing deliveries end-to-end — ensuring they arrive on time and in full
- Troubleshooting and resolving logistical challenges as they arise
- Building strong relationships with suppliers, hauliers, customers, and internal teams
- Scheduling collections and deliveries while balancing competing priorities
- Maintaining accurate records within our D365 system
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders to ensure continuity of supply

What we’re looking for
Essential
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to think on your feet and solve problems
- A proactive, self-motivated approach
- Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (including Excel)
- Excellent written/verbal communications, strong attention to detail and demonstrable analytical/problem solving skills
- Strong sense of self-motivation and ability to work both independently and in a team setting

Desirable
- Experience within supply chain, logistics, or procurement
- Familiarity with Microsoft D365 or similar systems
- Experience working in a commercial or fast-paced environment

- Liverpool-based (Group Head Office)
- Hybrid working - 4 days office based and 1 day Working from Home.
