Build your career in supply chain & agricultural trading

Are you a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and an interest in logistics, supply chain, or agriculture?

We have an exciting opportunity to join our forwarding operations team at Criddle, where you’ll play a key role in coordinating the movement of raw materials across the UK.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role offering real responsibility and the chance to develop both your operational and commercial expertise within a collaborative business.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be central to keeping the supply chain running smoothly by:

  • Coordinating the movement of raw materials into animal feed mills across the UK
  • Managing deliveries end-to-end — ensuring they arrive on time and in full
  • Troubleshooting and resolving logistical challenges as they arise
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers, hauliers, customers, and internal teams
  • Scheduling collections and deliveries while balancing competing priorities
  • Maintaining accurate records within our D365 system
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders to ensure continuity of supply

What we’re looking for

Essential

  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to think on your feet and solve problems
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (including Excel)
  • Excellent written/verbal communications, strong attention to detail and demonstrable analytical/problem solving skills
  • Strong sense of self-motivation and ability to work both independently and in a team setting

  • Experience within supply chain, logistics, or procurement
  • Familiarity with Microsoft D365 or similar systems
  • Experience working in a commercial or fast-paced environment
