TACT (The Adolescent and Children's Trust) is looking for caring, committed and resilient individuals to become Foster Carers across England and Wales.
Your spare room could provide more than just a place to stay - it could give a child the stability, care and opportunity they need to thrive.
📍 CURRENT FOCUS AREAS
We Are Currently Looking For Foster Carers In:
- Manchester
- Merseyside
- Yorkshire
- West Midlands
- Wales
Please note: TACT also covers a wider range of geographical locations, so if your area isn't listed above, you may still be eligible to foster.
💷 FINANCIAL PACKAGE
Receive a weekly payment of £491-£1,055 to help cover the costs of caring and recognise the valuable professional skills you bring to fostering.
❤️ What You'll Do
As a Foster Carer, you'll provide a child or young person with:

TACT provides ongoing support, guidance, training and development, helping you build the knowledge and skills needed to make a lasting difference.
🔑 Key Requirements
To apply, you must meet the following basic criteria:
- Age: 21 or over
- Home: A suitable, permanent spare bedroom
- Residency: Full-time UK residency or indefinite leave to remain
- Experience: Previous experience in health, social care, education, nursing, youth work or a related field is highly desirable
You don't need to be perfect. What matters is that you're caring, committed and ready to make a difference.
