‘Foster with Slough’ is the fostering service, graded ‘Good’ (OfSTED, 2021), linked to Slough Children First. We are a rapidly growing energetic and innovative team, working alongside professional foster carers, to support them to be at the top of their game, so that they can care for some of Slough’s most deserving children and young people and ensure that they are happy, safe and loved, thriving!

This is a role for a confident, outgoing individual who understands the rewards and challenges of fostering and the needs of ‘Cared for’ children. We are looking for someone creative who can think outside the box and work on their own initiative, someone relational and empathetic and a good team player.
The Practice Manager (Recruitment) will be able to combine their creative and leadership skills and develop a broad understanding of the recruitment target through the development of external networks, working alongside the Marketing officer, internal recruitment officers, training coordinator and undertaken the supervision and support of our assessing social workers, to increase are pool of competent local foster carers and improve our local offer to the children of Slough.

We work on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 3 days per week based in the office.
