Fostering Support Worker
Do you want to make a positive difference to the lives of vulnerable children in Wiltshire?
We're looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our Fostering Team, providing practical and therapeutic support to children in care and foster carers across the county.
You'll deliver tailored support visits, run groups and activities, assist with training, and manage a caseload using a relationship-based approach underpinned by PACE. You'll also have opportunities to develop your skills through PACE and Life Story Work training.
About You
You will have:
- NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience working with vulnerable children and families.
- Knowledge of fostering regulations, safeguarding, and child protection procedures.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A flexible approach and ability to travel across Wiltshire and occasionally beyond.
