Founder & Content Executive

Location: Uxbridge, West London

Salary: £28,000–£32,000 per annum

Working pattern: Office-first hybrid — 4 days per week in our Uxbridge office, with flexibility to work from home 1 day per week

Employment: Full-time, permanent

Company: Stratpilot

About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Founder & Content Executive to work closely with the Founder & CEO of Stratpilot.

This is not a traditional social media role.

Your job is to get close to the ideas, conversations and experiences happening inside a fast-moving technology business and turn them into content people genuinely want to read, watch and engage with.

You’ll work directly with the Founder to capture his thinking around AI, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership and building businesses internationally.

You’ll then turn those ideas into LinkedIn content, videos, articles, newsletters, podcasts and other formats.

Think of yourself as part content creator, writer, interviewer, researcher and storyteller.

What You’ll Do

Founder Content & Thought Leadership

  • Work directly with the Founder to capture ideas, opinions, experiences and stories
  • Run regular short interviews and content sessions with him
  • Develop and manage his LinkedIn content
  • Write posts, articles and thought-leadership pieces in his voice
  • Identify strong stories and perspectives from everyday conversations
  • Research relevant AI, technology and business topics
  • Help develop distinctive points of view rather than simply repeating industry news

Video & Multimedia

  • Video will be an increasingly important part of the role.
  • You’ll:
    • Identify opportunities for short-form video
    • Develop concepts and scripts
    • Help record founder videos
    • Conduct short interview-style recording sessions
    • Edit or coordinate editing of short-form content
    • Turn longer conversations into short clips
    • Repurpose podcasts, talks and events into social content
    • Experiment with emerging AI-powered content and video tools

You don't need to arrive as a professional filmmaker, but you should be comfortable with a camera, basic editing and learning quickly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Content Repurposing

We want to get much more value from every good idea.

A single 30-minute founder conversation might become:

  • 3 LinkedIn posts + 2 short videos + an article + a newsletter section + a podcast topic.

You’ll help build that content engine.

Podcasts, Events & External Presence

  • Support our founder-led podcasts
  • Research potential guests and topics
  • Prepare briefing notes and talking points
  • Identify relevant podcasts where the Founder could appear as a guest
  • Identify speaking opportunities, events and industry conversations
  • Create content before, during and after events
  • Help turn interesting meetings and experiences into stories

Content Planning & Performance

  • Maintain a structured founder content calendar
  • Build a consistent publishing rhythm
  • Coordinate with the wider marketing team
  • Track which topics and formats perform well
  • Understand which audiences are engaging
  • Continuously improve content based on what resonates

The Subjects You’ll Work With

There will be no shortage of material.

Topics will include:

  • Practical AI for business leaders
  • AI for executives and their teams
  • AI agents and the future of work
  • Productivity and automation
  • Enterprise AI security and privacy
  • Building technology products
  • Entrepreneurship and founder lessons
  • Leadership and company building
  • Scaling businesses internationally
  • Global technology ecosystems
  • Start-ups and investment
  • Lessons from customers and other founders
  • The realities of building and growing companies

We're not looking to create generic corporate content.

We want content that is useful, conversational, insightful and occasionally opinionated.

What We’re Looking For

You'll ideally have around 2–4 years of experience in one or more of:

  • Content
  • Journalism
  • Social Media
  • Communications
  • Digital Marketing
  • Video
  • PR

However, we're much more interested in your ability than your job title.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is an excellent writer
  • Has a natural instinct for storytelling
  • Can listen to a conversation and spot the interesting idea within it
  • Understands LinkedIn and modern B2B social content
  • Is comfortable interviewing senior people
  • Can turn rough thoughts into polished content without losing the person's voice
  • Has experience creating or editing basic video
  • Is comfortable with modern content and AI tools
  • Can research unfamiliar subjects quickly
  • Has a genuine interest in AI, technology and entrepreneurship
  • Has strong attention to detail
  • Is organised enough to maintain a consistent publishing rhythm
  • Is confident enough to challenge an idea when it isn't strong enough

Most importantly, you should be naturally curious.

You don't need to arrive as an AI expert. But you should want to become very knowledgeable about the subjects we're discussing.

How We Work

This is an office-first hybrid role.

You'll normally work from our Uxbridge, West London office four days per week, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week.

The office-based element is particularly important for this position.

Great founder content often comes from being around the conversations, meetings, customers, product discussions and spontaneous ideas that happen during the working week.

You need to be close enough to the action to capture those moments.

Why Join?

This isn't a role where you'll be handed a monthly social calendar and asked to schedule posts.

You'll have unusual access to the process of building and scaling technology and AI businesses.

You'll work directly with the Founder and be exposed to customers, entrepreneurs, investors, technology leaders, events and international business networks.

You'll also have significant freedom to experiment with new formats, video, podcasts and AI-powered content creation.

For someone ambitious about content, personal branding and thought leadership, there is considerable room to make the role your own and grow with the business.

If you're a great storyteller who happens to understand social media — rather than a social media person looking for something to post — we'd particularly like to hear from you.
