The Role
Primarily filming. You're the person with the camera, and you're good with it - you can walk into any room, read the light, get clean audio and shoot something that looks considered rather than grabbed.
You'll also edit. Mostly the YouTube vlogs and the short-form that comes out of them. You don't need to be a world-class editor, but you do need to be able to take your own footage and turn it into something finished without handing it off.
Day to Day
- Filming daily - meetings, travel, events, office, the unscripted stuff
- Setting up and shooting talking-head content properly: lighting, sound, framing
- Editing long-form YouTube vlogs end to end
- Cutting short-form from that footage for Instagram, TikTok and Shorts
- Travelling with the founder, UK and international (passport required)
- Thinking ahead- knowing what we're short of, what will cut well, what's worth chasing

Who This Is For
- Manchester-based. You'll be in and around the city daily, so this isn't a remote role
- You can shoot fast and well in imperfect conditions
- Confident in Premiere or Final Cut. After Effects is a bonus
- You understand YouTube - retention, pacing, why people stay
- You watch a lot of short-form and can explain why things work
- You're easy to be around all day, and you know when to press record and when to put the camera down
- Flexible hours. Content doesn't happen 9 to 5
