Founders Associate / Junior Chief of Staff

C&C Search is currently recruiting a Founders Associate / Junior Chief of Staff for a high-growth, NASDAQ-listed biotechnology business. Founders Associate / Junior Chief of Staff, supporting the Founder/CEO and senior leadership team across strategic, operational and commercial initiatives.

Salary

£50,000 - £70,000

Hybrid Setup

Remote working with international travel

The Founders Associate / Junior Chief of Staff will work at the heart of the business, partnering directly with the Founder/CEO and key stakeholders on high-impact initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with the Founder/CEO and senior leadership team to drive strategic priorities and business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted organisational and strategic partner, turning ideas, opportunities and priorities into actionable outcomes.
  • Analyse complex information and competing priorities to identify key business drivers and critical areas of focus.
  • Lead commercially important projects from conception through to delivery and execution.
  • Design, improve and implement scalable processes, systems and operational frameworks across the business.
  • Work closely with teams including HR, Legal and senior leadership on cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Build a detailed understanding of the business, its people, structure, operations and commercial objectives.
  • Support business planning, operational improvement and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations, reports and materials for internal leadership meetings and external stakeholders.
  • Help establish the operational foundations required to support continued growth and expansion.

Background and Experience

  • Experience gained within a demanding, fast-paced and high-performing corporate environment.
  • Strong academic background, ideally within Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Law or a related discipline.
  • MBA qualification would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills with evidence of project ownership and successful execution.
  • Experience creating, implementing or improving processes and systems.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong prioritisation skills.
  • Commercially minded with strong business acumen.
  • Comfortable operating in an evolving environment with changing priorities and ambiguity.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership and deliver results with minimal direction.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Credible and confident interacting with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • High emotional intelligence with a low-ego approach, demonstrating resilience, maturity and sound judgement.
  • Naturally curious, entrepreneurial and proactive.
  • Enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • Advanced tech skills, including Microsoft Office, productivity tools & AI would be beneficial.
