Founder's Associate – Zero-to-One Venture Builder (New Media Business)
London | £60k–£80k
About the opportunity
We're partnering with two serial entrepreneurs, they've built every company from their own profits, with no outside investors and no debt, and they've exited two of them. Their current consumer brand is one of the UK's fastest-growing private companies.
Their next venture is a new content-led business, building a portfolio of brands across a range of consumer verticals. The thesis is written, the pilots have run, and the founder is now full-time on it. What he needs next is a small group of exceptional people to take individual verticals and turn them into real businesses.
What you'll actually do
You'll be handed a detailed thesis covering a long list of possible verticals. Within days, you'll come back with the one you want to own, or a stronger idea and the reasoning behind it. From there, it's yours to build:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
- Size up an unfamiliar market fast: who spends money, where it goes and what a customer is worth
- Find, approach and sign multiple on-screen hosts, so the format never relies on one person
- Win sponsors and commercial partners
- Shape the format, then produce and launch it
- Run the numbers throughout: pricing, margins, ROI and the P&L of your vertical
- Share what's working with the other associates running their own verticals alongside you
You'll report directly to the founder and work closely with him. There's a lot of trust and very little hand-holding.
Who will thrive here
Industry background doesn't matter, and media experience isn't required. What matters is proof that you've built something:
- You've launched a product, brand, line of business or major account, and you can talk through the numbers and exactly what you did
- You'd rather test an idea with real customers this week than polish a plan for a month
- You're numerate and commercially sharp, and you think in terms of economics without being prompted
- You come back with recommendations, not a list of questions
- You'll happily do the unglamorous groundwork when that's what moves things forward
- You change your mind when the evidence says so, and you hold firm when it doesn't
- You'd love to build your own business one day and want to learn how it's done from the inside
