Founder’s Office Associate - Growth & Ventures

Location: London N22 8HX - Office-based
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm

About Benjamin Button

Benjamin Button is a fast-growing UK consumer brand operating across beauty, wellness, supplements, retail, and e-commerce. Our products are sold through major online and retail channels, and we are building the next stage of the business across retail expansion, Amazon, partnerships, B2B, international markets, and new product development.

We are an entrepreneurial company with ambitious plans for growth, and we're looking for an exceptional Founder’s Office Associate - Growth & Ventures to work closely with the leadership team and help drive the next stage of the business.

This is not a traditional assistant or administrative role. You'll work across commercial growth, partnerships, retail, new ventures, research, and company-wide projects. You'll be expected to spot opportunities, take ownership, and turn ideas into results.

For the right person, this is an unusual opportunity to learn how a fast-growing consumer business is built from the inside while having a direct impact on its growth.

The Role

A significant part of your role will focus on growth, commercial opportunities, and new ventures, with the remainder working across strategic projects and priorities throughout the business.

No two weeks are likely to look exactly the same.

Growth, Commercial & Partnerships

  • Identify and create new growth opportunities, including:
    • Identifying potential B2B customers, retailers, and commercial partners
    • Developing new retail and distribution opportunities
    • Researching new markets, sectors, and sales channels
    • Supporting partnerships with retailers, influencers, distributors, and other brands
    • Building and managing a pipeline of commercial opportunities
    • Preparing proposals and supporting negotiations
    • Researching international expansion opportunities
    • Identifying opportunities across Amazon, e-commerce, and marketplaces
    • Helping evaluate new products and categories
    • Following opportunities from initial idea through to commercial outcome

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We don't just want someone who can manage existing opportunities. We want someone who can spot opportunities that others have missed and help turn them into revenue.

Founder’s Office Projects & Execution

  • Work on some of the company's most important projects, including:
    • Researching new commercial opportunities
    • Managing projects from idea through to completion
    • Conducting competitor, market, and pricing analysis
    • Supporting retail launches and expansion
    • Helping develop and test new growth initiatives
    • Supporting new product launches
    • Researching international markets and distribution opportunities
    • Improving internal processes and ways of working
    • Supporting recruitment and other strategic projects
    • Using AI and automation to improve productivity and execution
    • Preparing information and analysis to support commercial decisions
    • Coordinating projects across sales, marketing, operations, and external partners
    • Following up actions and ensuring important projects actually get completed

You'll have visibility across much of the company rather than being confined to one department.

Who We're Looking For

We're deliberately flexible on experience. You might be an ambitious university graduate looking for an unusually entrepreneurial first role, or you might already have several years of experience in start-ups, business development, consulting, e-commerce, retail, operations, or another commercial environment.

Your mindset matters more to us than the number of years on your CV.

You should be:

  • Entrepreneurial - you naturally look for opportunities and better ways of doing things
  • Commercially minded and interested in how brands grow
  • Confident communicating with customers, partners, and senior people
  • Comfortable creating new relationships and opening doors
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects
  • Analytical and comfortable researching unfamiliar subjects quickly
  • Resourceful - when you don't know something, you work out how to find the answer
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
  • Curious about brands, consumer behavior, technology, and AI
  • Comfortable working at pace in a growing company
  • Someone who likes responsibility rather than waiting for instructions

What This Role Isn't

This is not a PA or traditional executive assistant position. There will naturally be some coordination and organization involved when working closely with senior leadership, but the purpose of the role is not to manage diaries or perform routine administration.

We are looking for someone who wants to build, grow, sell, solve problems, and create new opportunities.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 3-6 months, we'd expect you to be:

  • Identifying new commercial and growth opportunities
  • Opening doors to new retailers, customers, and partners
  • Helping build a strong B2B and partnership pipeline
  • Taking ownership of important projects
  • Supporting major retail and product launches
  • Bringing new ideas and opportunities to the leadership team
  • Finding ways to improve how the business operates
  • Becoming someone we can give a problem or objective to and trust to drive it forward

Why Join Benjamin Button?

You'll work close to the people making the key decisions rather than several layers removed from them.

You'll see first-hand how products are launched, retailers are won, partnerships are built, brands are grown, and commercial decisions are made.

You'll also have the freedom to propose ideas and then actually build them.

One week you might be researching a new international market. The next you could be supporting a major retail launch, analyzing a new product category, developing a commercial partnership, or helping solve an operational problem.

For someone entrepreneurial, this breadth of exposure can be significantly greater than you'd typically get from a conventional graduate or corporate role.

If you ultimately want to build a company yourself, this is the kind of role that gives you exposure to many of the skills required to do it.

As Benjamin Button grows, we want you to grow with us.
