Not a coordinator. Not someone waiting to be given a task. Someone wired differently: curious, competitive, high-agency, and ambitious.
We are STOIX, a small, ambitious, B Corp-certified Executive Search and Interim Management firm placing CFOs and senior finance leaders into PLC, PE-backed, VC-backed, and founder-led businesses. We do rigorous work and we care about doing the basics brilliantly.
This role sits at the centre of the business. You will work directly with the founders across search delivery, business development, and internal operations. You will use AI every day; we are heavy users of Claude. You will draft communications, prepare briefing packs, and cut out repetitive admin. You will be a trusted point of contact for senior clients and candidates keeping them engaged, updated, and informed. How we show up in every interaction matters. You will support with Marketing, Growth, Events, and our Podcast! And much more!

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The non-negotiables:
- Insatiably curious. You read widely, ask better questions than most, and go three levels deeper than anyone expects.
- High agency and proactivity. You identify what needs doing and you do it. You do not wait.
- You have hustled. Worked in a bar, a restaurant, retail, on a market stall, or any job that required you to show up, work hard, and earn it. That experience is not a nice-to-have; it is a prerequisite.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Entrepreneurial by nature.
- Played sport to a high standard. You know what competition feels like, come with resilience, and what winning (and losing) requires.
- A strong track record of academic and professional achievement.
- 1 to 2 years in B2B professional services (consulting, finance, law, advisory, or similar), with some start-up or early-stage exposure.
- A clear, confident writer. You know how to draft a precise email and keep things concise.
- Reliable with the basics. You close loops, hit deadlines, and do not drop balls.
- Right to work in the UK.
