Back the Bold. Build the Future.

NoBa is a London-based investment platform focused on the future of work.

We back ambitious early-stage founders, bring together a growing community of angel investors, and run programmes and experiences designed to help founders and investors build better businesses and make better decisions.

Alongside NoBa, we are building EmpowerHER - a growing community bringing ambitious women together around connection, learning, opportunity and wealth creation.

Across both platforms, partnerships, programmes, events and content are central to how we grow.

We are looking for an exceptional Founder’s Associate – Partnerships & Programmes to help us turn ideas, relationships and opportunities into things that actually happen — and happen well.

Why This Role, Why Now?

We are building a lot.

Across NoBa and EmpowerHER we work with investors, founders, corporate partners, sponsors, advisers, speakers and an expanding community.

We run investment and founder programmes, community experiences, investor events, breakfasts, dinners, showcases and workshops. We create content and insights designed to build credibility, start conversations and grow our reach.

The opportunity is significant. The challenge is execution.

We are looking for someone who can sit alongside the founders, understand what we are trying to achieve and take responsibility for turning that direction into structured, high-quality delivery.

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit on the sidelines.

You will have exposure across the business, work directly with the founding partners and be trusted to take ownership quickly.

What You’ll Be Doing

Partnerships

Help us build and manage a much more systematic approach to our partners and sponsors.

You will:

  • Maintain and develop our pipeline of potential partners and sponsors;
  • Research and identify organisations we should be building relationships with;
  • Help develop partnership propositions and materials;
  • Prepare for partner meetings and ensure actions are followed through;
  • Coordinate activity across partners, founders and the wider team;
  • Turn relationships into tangible collaborations across events, programmes and content;
  • Manage agreed partner deliverables;
  • Ensure existing partners are engaged, supported and seeing value;
  • Help identify renewal and expansion opportunities.

Our founders will continue to lead many of our senior relationships. Your job is to make sure good conversations become real outcomes.

Programmes

Support the design and lead the delivery of programmes across NoBa and EmpowerHER.

This will initially include significant involvement in Elevate, our founder programme supporting high-potential early-stage businesses.

You will:

  • Translate programme ideas into clear delivery plans and calendars;
  • Coordinate speakers, mentors, partners, venues and contributors;
  • Manage materials, communications, schedules and logistics;
  • Keep delivery on track and surface risks early;
  • Support sessions and programme activity;
  • Collect feedback and help improve each programme over time;
  • Create repeatable systems so that each new programme is easier to deliver than the last.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Events & Experiences

Events are a major part of both NoBa and EmpowerHER.

You will help deliver everything from intimate dinners and breakfasts through to investor showcases, community events, workshops and larger programmes.

You will:

  • Manage our forward event calendar;
  • Turn an event concept into a practical delivery plan;
  • Coordinate venues, speakers, partners, suppliers and logistics;
  • Manage timelines, budgets and dependencies;
  • Help shape guest lists and event communications with our Member Operations team;
  • Ensure events look and feel high quality;
  • Coordinate materials, presentations and content;
  • Make sure follow-up happens after the event;
  • Build reusable event playbooks rather than reinventing the process every time.

We want someone who enjoys making things happen and takes pride in the details that make an experience feel effortless to everyone else.

Content & Social Media

Content is a core part of how we build credibility, grow our communities and stay relevant to founders, investors and partners.

You will work closely with Kevin, Vanesa and the wider team to turn their ideas, conversations and expertise into content that people actually want to engage with.

That includes:

  • Owning and maintaining our content calendar;
  • Helping identify strong stories, themes and points of view;
  • Creating first drafts of LinkedIn posts, newsletters, insight pieces and event content;
  • Capturing content from programmes and events and turning it into useful outputs;
  • Repurposing one strong idea across multiple formats and channels;
  • Coordinating visuals, photography, video and design where needed;
  • Publishing and managing content across relevant social channels;
  • Understanding what is performing and using that insight to improve;
  • Staying close to how LinkedIn, Instagram and other relevant platforms are evolving.

You do not need to be a traditional social media manager. But you do need to be completely comfortable using social media as a professional tool: understanding the platforms, creating and publishing content, spotting opportunities, building engagement and knowing how good social content can support commercial and community growth.

What We’re Looking For

We care less about a particular career path and more about whether you have the attributes to thrive in this role.

You will probably be someone who:

  • Is exceptionally organised and follows through;
  • Enjoys taking something ambiguous and creating structure around it;
  • Is comfortable owning multiple workstreams at once without losing the detail;
  • Writes clearly and can adapt your communication for different audiences;
  • Has good instincts around content and social media;
  • Is confident working directly with senior partners, founders and external stakeholders;
  • Understands that relationships require consistent follow-up, not just good meetings;
  • Has strong project-management instincts;
  • Is commercially curious and wants to understand what makes a business grow;
  • Moves quickly and is comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment;
  • Can distinguish between what is genuinely important and what is simply urgent;
  • Has high standards but does not need perfect information before acting;
  • Is low ego, collaborative and willing to get hands-on.

Most importantly, we want someone with ownership mentality. When something is yours, we should not need to repeatedly ask where it has got to. You should know the objective, have a plan, keep people updated, flag problems early and drive it through to completion.

AI Should Be Part of How You Work

We are a small team and expect to operate with significantly more leverage than our headcount would traditionally allow.

You should already be comfortable using AI tools in your work and excited about finding better ways to use them.

That could mean using AI to:

  • Research partners and speakers;
  • Structure programme and event plans;
  • Draft and repurpose content;
  • Turn conversations into articles or social posts;
  • Prepare briefs and presentations;
  • Summarise meetings and capture actions;
  • Analyse feedback;
  • Automate repetitive workflows;
  • Improve how information is captured and shared.

We are not interested in AI fluency as a line on a CV. We want someone who naturally asks: can this be done better, faster or more intelligently?

Why Join Us?

This is an unusually broad role with significant exposure.

You will work directly with the founders across two growing platforms and have the opportunity to build relationships with some exceptional founders, investors, senior business leaders and partners.

You will get experience across:

  • Partnerships and commercial development;
  • Startup and investment ecosystems;
  • Programme creation;
  • Events and community building;
  • Content and brand;
  • Business operations.

There is considerable scope for the role to grow as NoBa and EmpowerHER grow and depending on where your strengths develop, that could ultimately lead towards programme leadership, partnerships, content and marketing, community, or a broader operating role.

What matters now is finding someone brilliant at turning ambition into execution.

Interested?

Tell us why this role is interesting to you, what you think you would bring to it, and give us an example of something you have taken real ownership of and made happen.

We would also love to hear how you are currently using AI or social media in your work - not theoretically, but in practice.
