YADAQ is a pre-seed research technology company developing intelligent tools for how people capture, organise and use knowledge.
Operating at the intersection of AI, research technology, EdTech and LegalTech, YADAQ addresses a persistent problem in research-intensive work: valuable information is often encountered across fragmented sources and workflows, making it unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming to find and use again when it matters.
Built around the principle “research that remembers,” YADAQ is focused on making knowledge-intensive research more intuitive, efficient and accessible, with applications across academic and professional knowledge work.
Role Description
The Founder’s Associate Intern (Strategy & Research) will work closely with YADAQ’s founding team across strategic research, market intelligence, commercial research and early-stage venture development.
The role will involve gathering and synthesising evidence to support customer discovery, go-to-market strategy and key commercial decisions, with the opportunity to contribute ideas and challenge assumptions as YADAQ develops.

This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in 0→1 venture building and contribute directly to an emerging research technology company. The role offers close exposure to the founding team and the strategic and commercial decisions involved in taking a pre-seed technology venture forward.
The role is flexible and primarily remote, with opportunities for in-person collaboration in London where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree involving significant qualitative research, source analysis and academic writing. Candidates from Law, humanities and social sciences are particularly encouraged to apply.
- Strong research and analytical capabilities, including desk research and the synthesis of complex information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify meaningful patterns across unstructured information and communicate findings clearly and concisely.
- Strong commercial curiosity and an interest in startups, strategy, technology, AI, EdTech, LegalTech, product development or innovation.
- Comfortable working independently, taking initiative and operating effectively within an early-stage environment.
- Sound judgement, intellectual curiosity and a willingness to challenge assumptions where evidence points elsewhere.
- Previous experience in startups, consulting, research, innovation or technology is advantageous but not required.
