About PF Nexus
The renewable energy transition is one of the defining investment themes of our generation. Billions of dollars of capital need to find their way into solar farms, wind projects, battery storage facilities and AI infrastructure - and the process of connecting that capital with the right projects is still surprisingly broken.
PF Nexus is fixing that. We've built an AI-native marketplace that connects renewable energy and AI infrastructure developers with institutional investors, financiers and acquirers across Europe. Our network has grown to 8,500+ professionals and 5,000+ companies - fund managers, development banks, energy utilities, project developers - and deal flow on the platform is accelerating.
We're a small, high-conviction founding team and we're now building the people around us to scale what we've built. This is one of the most important hires we'll make this year.
The Role
This is a broad, client-facing role at the heart of how PF Nexus engages with its professional network. You'll be the human face of the platform for a significant portion of our subscribers - and the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks as the business grows.
It's not a narrow role. One week you're managing inbound queries from a fund manager in Stockholm, the next you're running an outbound campaign to renewable energy developers in Southern Europe, the next you're tracking the progress of an introduction between a project developer and a potential buyer. Over time, tasks will shift as the business evolves and specialist hires join - we're looking for someone who finds that energising rather than unsettling.
You'll work directly with both founders from day one, with real ownership from the start.
What Success Looks Like at 12 Months
- Managing PF Nexus's subscriber relationships confidently - inbound queries handled promptly and professionally, introduction feedback tracked and actioned, no subscriber feeling ignored or unsupported.
- Churn has reduced meaningfully.
- Outreach campaigns are running consistently and generating qualified meetings.
- The founders have more bandwidth to focus on product and growth because of what you're holding.
- You've built a deep understanding of how renewable energy deals and investor relationships actually work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Own
Clients - Support, retention and engagement
First point of contact for our professional network of developers, investors, and advisors. You'll manage inbound queries, run proactive check-ins to keep subscribers engaged, handle onboarding communications for new subscribers, track subscription payments and chase failures, and lead post-churn conversations with departing subscribers to understand why and retain where possible.
Marketplace - Deal pipeline and introduction feedback
The connective tissue between our marketplace introductions and our CRM. You'll manage our introduction feedback pipeline in HubSpot - keeping stages and notes current, interpreting feedback, and spotting where deals may be progressing. You'll run outbound feedback sequences and work with our in-house LLM-assisted toolset to process and log data efficiently.
Growth - Commercial outreach and subscriber acquisition
Working closely with the founders to grow the platform's subscriber base and investor engagement. You'll run cold outreach and open-to-investment campaigns via Apollo, nurture leads from our existing CRM audience, and help identify and reach the right target audiences. Writing quality and commercial judgement matter here - you'll be crafting copy and testing what converts.
Who We're Looking For
Essential:
- Excellent written English - you'll be corresponding daily with senior professionals at investment funds, development banks, and energy companies, and every interaction reflects on PF Nexus.
- 2+ years in a client-facing role at a B2B company - customer success, account management, client operations, or similar.
- Familiarity with AI tools (like Claude, ChatGPT) as part of your workflow.
- Demonstrably self-directed - you manage a varied task list without being micromanaged, and you flag blockers early rather than going quiet.
- Comfortable learning new tools quickly - we use HubSpot, Apollo, Contentful, Stripe, Slack, Loom, and an in-house LLM toolset.
- Proactive commercial mindset - you think about outcomes, not just activity.
- UK-based, and commutable to London for occasional in-person days (moving toward 2–3 days a week in a London office in the coming months).

Compensation and Logistics
- £32,500 - £37,500 base salary depending on experience.
- Quarterly performance bonus of up to 10% of base salary, tied to commercial outcomes.
- 12-month fixed term contract.
- Remote-first with occasional in-person days in London, moving toward hybrid working (2–3 days in a London office) as the business grows.
- You must be based in the UK.
What You Won't Find Here
- A rigid job description that stays the same for three years.
- A large team to hide in.
- A slow-moving environment.
This is an early-stage marketplace at an inflection point - the person who joins now will have a material impact on how it scales.
How to Apply and What to Expect
Apply with your CV. On confirmation of your application, we'll send you a short written task - around 25–30 minutes - to complete before your first call. We do this because written communication is central to the role, and we'd rather see how you write than just read about it.
From there, our process is:
- Written task - completed before the first call.
- 30-minute screening call with one of the founders.
- 60-minute skills and fit interview with both founders.
- Final 30-minute conversation to answer your questions and confirm mutual fit.
Our process may vary slightly depending on the candidate, but the above gives a good sense of what to expect.
We’re moving quickly and will be in touch with shortlisted candidates promptly.
