Founding Account Executive | AI Enterprise SaaS
Location: London, hybrid
Salary: £70,000 to £90,000 base + Double uncapped commission + equity (£140-£180k+ package)
Build Something From the Ground Up!
This is an opportunity to join a well-funded AI and RegTech SaaS business at a seriously exciting point in its growth journey.
Already working with leading fintechs and financial institutions across Europe, the business is now entering its next phase of expansion, with plans to almost double headcount by the end of the year.
They're looking for a Founding Account Executive to join the commercial team at a pivotal moment.
This isn't about inheriting a territory or working from an established playbook. You'll be one of the people building the playbook.
Working directly with the founders, you'll have the opportunity to shape the GTM strategy, influence how the sales function develops and land some of the company's most important enterprise customers.
The Role
You'll own the full enterprise sales cycle, from identifying and engaging prospects through to closing complex, high-value deals.
Your focus will be on:
- Banks, fintechs, financial institutions and other regulated businesses
- Building relationships with C-suite and senior decision makers
- Running complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes
- Understanding challenging regulatory and operational problems
- Positioning an innovative AI-powered SaaS platform as the solution
- Working closely with the founders to develop the commercial strategy
- Helping establish the processes, messaging and approach that future sales hires will build on

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You'll have genuine ownership from day one and the opportunity to make an impact far beyond your individual number.
Why Join Now?
The timing is the opportunity.
The business is entering a major growth phase, with headcount expected to nearly double by the end of the year.
That creates significant scope for progression as the commercial team expands. The people joining at this stage will have the opportunity to grow with the business, take on more responsibility and play a key role in shaping the team around them.
If you're ambitious and want your next move to have a real impact on your career, this is the kind of environment where you can build something, not just sell something.
What We're Looking For
- Proven success closing complex B2B SaaS or technology deals
- Experience selling into banks, fintechs or wider financial services
- Comfortable navigating long, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
- Strong consultative and commercial selling skills
- Confident engaging C-suite and senior decision makers
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high levels of ownership, drive and resilience
- Someone who wants to be part of an ambitious growth story rather than simply step into an established sales machine

- Exposure to leading fintechs, banks and financial institutions
- The chance to join at a stage where your contribution can genuinely shape the business
This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious AI business before the next stage of growth really kicks in, rather than trying to join once the team and structure are already established.
If you want ownership, progression, uncapped earning potential and the chance to help build something from the ground up, this could be the move for you.
