Founding Account Executive
π London (Hybrid) | π° Excellent Base + Uncapped Commission + Equity
Build the commercial engine of a business from day one.
We're hiring the first sales hire for an ambitious AI software business that's building technology to transform how companies operate.
This isn't a role where you'll inherit a sales playbook, established pipeline or existing process. You'll have the opportunity to build the commercial function from the ground up, defining the strategy, creating the outbound motion, winning customers and laying the foundations for future growth.
If you're entrepreneurial, thrive in fast-paced environments and love winning new business, this is a genuine opportunity to make your mark.
The Role
- Own the entire new business sales cycle, from identifying opportunities through to signed contracts.
- Develop and execute the outbound strategy across phone, email, LinkedIn and face-to-face meetings.
- Test messaging, target markets and sales approaches to identify what works and build a scalable sales model.
- Generate and qualify your own pipeline through highly targeted outbound activity.
- Close high-value opportunities and consistently exceed revenue targets.
- Work closely with the leadership team, providing market feedback to refine product positioning, messaging and target customers.

Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme β client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits

What We're Looking For
- A proven track record of exceeding targets in B2B SaaS or technology sales.
- A genuine hunter who enjoys creating opportunities rather than relying on inbound leads.
- Experience building and managing your own pipeline through proactive outbound activity.
- Highly self-motivated, resourceful and comfortable operating with autonomy.
- Competitive, resilient and driven, with the work ethic to thrive in a high-growth environment.
Desirable experience:
- Experience selling software into high inbound-call volume businesses, including contact centres, healthcare, trades, logistics, automotive groups, property or hospitality.
