Founding Account Executive — Navige

AI Governance | Remote | Full-time or Part-time | Uncapped Commission + Equity Upside

We’re building the control plane for AI. AI agents are moving beyond chat. They’re accessing customer data, calling APIs, moving money, making decisions and changing production systems. The problem is simple: Who controls what an AI agent is allowed to do? That’s what we’re building at Navige. Navige sits between AI agents and the actions they take. Before an AI action happens, Navige evaluates it against rules written in plain English and makes a decision in real time: Allow. Block. Or send to a human for approval. Every decision is recorded in a tamper-evident audit trail. We're building for the new generation of AI-native companies — integrating with the technologies developers are already using, including LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, MCP, OpenAI and Claude. The market is moving quickly. AI adoption is accelerating, regulation is catching up, and companies are starting to realise that simply monitoring AI isn't enough. We think this becomes essential infrastructure.

The Role

You're Employee #1 in Sales. There is no sales team. There is no existing playbook. There is no territory waiting for you. You build it. You'll work directly with the founder and own the entire commercial motion — from identifying the first target accounts through to closing and expanding them. You'll:

  • Identify and prospect companies putting AI agents into production
  • Build relationships with CTOs, CIOs, Heads of Engineering, Security and Compliance leaders
  • Run discovery and product demonstrations
  • Turn an emerging problem into a compelling business case
  • Own negotiations and close deals
  • Build the first repeatable sales playbook
  • Feed customer intelligence directly into the product roadmap
  • Experiment with outbound, partnerships, events and other GTM channels
  • Help define our ICP, messaging, pricing and sales process
  • Build the foundation for the sales organisation that comes next

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

If you succeed, you won't just be selling into the market — you'll help define how Navige goes to market.

Who We're Looking For

You might be our person if:

  • You've sold B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data or compliance products
  • You've worked successfully in an early-stage or high-growth environment
  • You're comfortable selling to technical and executive buyers
  • You can have an API conversation with an engineer and a commercial conversation with a CFO
  • You're strong at prospecting, discovery, demos and closing
  • You know how to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
  • You can create opportunities rather than waiting for inbound leads
  • You're commercially obsessive and comfortable operating without a playbook
  • You want to build something rather than inherit something
  • You have the ambition to eventually build and lead the sales organisation

Founding AE experience is a huge plus. But we're more interested in what you've actually achieved than how impressive your job title looks.

The Opportunity

This is an early-stage, high-upside commercial role. The compensation is currently commission-led and uncapped, with meaningful upside tied directly to revenue generated. There is also potential for equity and increased commercial upside as you become a core part of the company. We're looking for someone who sees the opportunity in getting in early — when the category is being created, the product is evolving and the person who builds the sales engine can have an outsized impact. If you help turn Navige into a significant company, you should participate in that upside.

Why Navige?

AI governance is becoming a fundamental infrastructure problem. The companies that win with AI won't simply be the ones with the best models. They'll be the ones that can confidently put AI to work without losing control of what it does. That's the company we're building. And you'll be the person helping us find the first customers.

Interested?

Don't send us a generic CV and cover letter. Email join@navige.ai with:

  1. The best B2B deal you've ever closed — what were you selling, who bought it, how big was it, and what made it difficult?
  2. Why does joining an early-stage AI governance company on a commission-led, high-upside basis interest you?
  3. One company you think Navige should be selling to — and why.

We'll read every response ourselves. If there's a fit, you'll speak directly with the founder. This is not a sales job inside a company. You're building the sales function from zero.
