Founding Account Executive/GTM Sales Lead

We are searching for an ambitious and commercially astute Founding Account Executive/GTM Sales Lead to join a fast-growing, early-stage AI SaaS business. Working directly with the founder, you will own the full sales cycle, create outbound pipeline and close new business, while helping to shape the company’s go-to-market (GTM) strategy, sales processes and messaging as the commercial function scales. This is a hands-on opportunity for a commercially curious SaaS salesperson who wants to build something and influence future growth rather than inherit an established playbook.

£50,000 – £60,000 per annum, negotiable dependent on experience
Uncapped commission
Equity in a fast-growing technology business
Based in Leeds - Hybrid working (3-4 office days per week)
25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Access to best-in-class software and tools to help you perform at your best
Direct access to the Founder & product team, significant influence over sales strategy, processes and future growth, excellent scope for progression as the commercial function grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting and discovery through to negotiation and close.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline through outbound activity, account research and wider growth initiatives.
  • Conduct consultative discovery calls to understand how prospective customers currently identify, assess and manage commercial opportunities.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations based on each prospect’s markets, workflows and commercial objectives.
  • Build relationships with internal champions, commercial decision-makers and other stakeholders.
  • Manage proposals, pilots, negotiations and contract discussions.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline records, forecasts and clearly defined next steps.
  • Develop outbound strategies for priority accounts, sectors and markets.
  • Use modern CRM, prospecting, enrichment and sales intelligence tools to identify and prioritise opportunities.
  • Work closely with the product team, sharing customer feedback and market intelligence.
  • Support and provide direction to a Sales Development Representative.
  • Help shape the company's GTM strategy, refining sales processes, messaging, target markets and commercial playbooks.
  • Contribute to future recruitment and the continued development of the sales team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
