The opportunity

We’re working with a fast-growing fintech/regtech company that is building the commercial engine behind a product regulated businesses increasingly can’t operate without. They’re hiring a Founding Account Executive to own the sales motion from early traction to repeatable growth.

You’ll sell to senior buyers in banks, payments firms, asset managers, insurers and other regulated businesses, where deals are complex, multi-stakeholder and won on trust and credibility. You’ll work directly with the founders and shape how the company goes to market, not just carry a number.

What you’ll do

  • Own the full sales cycle, from first conversation to signature, across a mix of mid-market and enterprise regulated accounts
  • Build and run your own pipeline through outbound, networks, partnerships and inbound
  • Navigate long, multi-threaded buying processes involving compliance, risk, legal, procurement, InfoSec and the C-suite
  • Run discovery that goes beyond features, and position the product around regulatory pressure, risk reduction and commercial outcomes
  • Work closely with founders, product and customer success, and feed what you hear from the market back into roadmap and messaging
  • Help build the playbook: ICP, pitch, pricing and packaging, objection handling, deal qualification and sales process
  • Contribute to hiring and onboarding the next wave of commercial hires as the team grows

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
