Account Executive

Epiphany (http://epiphany.education) has become the trusted tool for the learning & development teams of Big 4 consulting firms, global banks, NGOs, and more. We did it without raising any capital and without a sales person.

We’re looking for our first account executive to grow our existing accounts, leading to a large fundraise in Q1 2027. If you’ve grown ARR by expanding within global enterprises before, and you’re excited by the opportunity to join early, earn meaningful equity and directly influence what that equity becomes worth, this position might be for you.

  • £80–120k base salary (depending on experience)
  • First-year OTE of £280–320k.
  • Uncapped commission
  • Meaningful equity (at least 1%)

About Epiphany

No company can survive if their workforce doesn’t have the skills and knowledge needed to help the business grow. This is why large corporates have dedicated Learning and Development (L&D) teams. It’s a massive industry, but severely broken:

  • High budgets, low results: $400B are spent every year on L&D, but 88% of the trainings it creates are forgotten within a week
  • No tooling: it runs on Microsoft Word, endless email threads and guesswork. It’s like if the sales industry had no CRM and run on Excel.

We think L&D is ready for disruption, and Epiphany is the first AI-native specifically built around the industry’s workflows (you can think of our product as Figma + Claude Code for L&D).

The market is confirming we’re right: 40% of customers buy after a single demo (it’s that compelling).

Our team has decades of experience in AI, learning and enterprise-level software engineering, prominent angel investors, and a top-notch pedigree (Harvard, Google, Deepmind, Facebook, etc.).

The Role

We’ve achieved quite a lot without a dedicated salesperson. Without raising any money and only through founder-led sales and inbound leads, we:

  • Closed customers including Big 4 professional services firms, Tier 1 banks, healthcare organizations, governments and NGOs and passed their complex procurement and cyber security processes
  • Expanded some of these contracts from 5 to 6 figures

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The potential to expand is still massive, and this is where you come in.

For the first six months, you will focus on growing our existing accounts both within the teams already using Epiphany or to different internal teams, using the success of the first buyers to open the next opportunity. You will not inherit a structured sales process and will have the freedom to establish it yourself, but you’ll inherit the customers and keep working directly with the founder and our CS lead.

Success looks like growing revenue by 2.5x by Q1 2027. If we achieve this goal together, we’ll raise a large seed round and you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end sales machine going forward: creating repeatable processes, hire the people who can run it with you, and gradually move from being our first salesperson to building and leading the sales team.

The Long-term Vision

AI is causing the largest skills displacement in history. As AI gets better and takes more of our tasks, old jobs and skills become irrelevant.

This means that every single white collar worker will have to develop new skills or be left behind, and there is no solution to do that at scale.

Building that solution is a massive opportunity, not only because there’s a lot of money to be made but because we can really make an impact on how companies and society as a whole adapts to probably the largest and fastest technological disruption in history.

That’s why we’re here. We want Epiphany to become the intelligence layer for capability building.

Requirements

We’re looking for a strong enterprise seller who wants to build the playbook, be hands-on now and earn the opportunity to lead a team later.

  • You have a track record of growing large enterprise accounts: mapping organisations, building relationships beyond the first buyer and expanding successful deployments.
  • You’re comfortable with six-figure deals and the procurement, data security, legal and budget processes behind them.
  • You can build a repeatable sales process, prioritise opportunities and forecast honestly, while owning the full cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • You work well with founders and product teams, turning customer feedback into useful signals.
  • You already use AI in your work.

How We Work

We care more about good judgment and getting shit done than titles and hierarchy.

Everyone has a clear responsibility, but everyone chips in when they can genuinely help: our founding Customer Success Lead helps scope product with her experience of how customers use it, and our engineers are happy to occasionally revisit the roadmap on the spot to address some important customer feedback.

We’ll expect the same mindset from you. Your clear responsibility will be growing revenue, but you’ll also work closely with Customer Success, product, engineering, the founder and CFO.

This only works because we have a low-ego, no-asshole culture. We’re informal, honest with each other and comfortable giving and receiving candid feedback.

The company is fully remote, with quarterly meetups, ideally by the beach 🏖️. This role requires you to be able to come weekly to London to work closely with the founder and our customers, so it's open only to people living in the city or its surroundings.

Compensation

  • £80–120k base salary (depending on experience)
  • First-year OTE of £280–320k.
  • Uncapped commission
  • Meaningful equity (at least 1%)

Base comp: £70k-100k per year, based on experience + meaningful performance bonus and equity.

We think this is a rare moment to join: global enterprises already buy Epiphany, we’ve expanded contracts into six figures, and we’re still early enough for one person to have a huge impact on what the company becomes.

If we grow revenue by 2.5× together, we believe that puts us in a strong position to raise a large seed round and accelerate the business. You’ll have helped create a significant part of that value, and we want to share it with you: through a substantial short-term reward for reaching that goal and equity in the company you help build.

We’ll walk you through the numbers during interviews so you can judge the potential for yourself. We’re excited about what’s possible here, and we want you to see why.
