Ready to build the GTM engine of a category-defining AI company?

They’re hiring a Founding Account Executive to join a fast-growing AI company in London – perfect for an ambitious enterprise seller who wants to own the full sales motion, close large strategic deals, and help build the commercial function from the ground up.

What’s in it for you?

  • 💰 Competitive package: £100,000-£120,000 base + OTE + equity component
  • 🚀 Founding commercial role: Become the first dedicated commercial hire and take ownership of the GTM motion
  • 🏆 High-value enterprise sales: Sell complex AI transformation solutions with pilot deals ranging from roughly £50k-£150k and significant expansion potential
  • 📈 Massive growth opportunity: Join at ~£500k ARR with a multi-million-pound pipeline and ambitious plans to reach £5m ARR by year-end
  • 🧠 Founder-level impact: Work directly with the founders and help shape the sales strategy, playbook, ICP, and future commercial team
  • 🏢 Hybrid: London-based, ideally 4 days/week in person with the founding team

About the Company This is an early-stage AI company founded by senior machine learning engineers from Meta, building technology designed to help enterprises become AI-first.

Their platform provides a foundation layer for enterprise AI – helping companies understand how their operations work, identify opportunities for automation, and enable AI agents to operate effectively within complex and constantly changing business environments.

They have already built strong early traction, reaching approximately £500k ARR within their first three months of selling, with around 9-10 enterprise customers and a pipeline worth several million pounds.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Now, they’re looking for their first dedicated commercial hire to take the business from founder-led sales to a scalable, sales-led organization.

What you’ll do:

  • ✔ Own the entire enterprise sales cycle – from generating pipeline and prospecting through discovery, demo, negotiation, closing, and expansion
  • ✔ Take ownership of the existing pipeline and close high-value enterprise deals
  • ✔ Build relationships with C-level stakeholders, typically engaging CEOs, COOs, CTOs, CISOs, and private equity value creation teams
  • ✔ Land initial pilots and drive land-and-expand growth, turning successful pilots into larger, long-term contracts
  • ✔ Build and own the sales playbook and outbound motion from scratch
  • ✔ Develop the company’s GTM strategy, including ICP, messaging, sales processes, and commercial channels
  • ✔ Leverage your network to create new opportunities across the UK, Europe, and US
  • ✔ Work closely with the founders and technical team to translate a highly technical AI product into compelling commercial outcomes
  • ✔ Help define the future sales organization and eventually build out the commercial team underneath you

Ideal candidates include:

  • Proven Enterprise AE / Founding AE / GTM experience selling complex, high-ACV solutions
  • A track record of closing large, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
  • Experience selling to C-level executives and navigating complex buying committees
  • Experience with AI, agentic AI, enterprise software, or other technical products is highly valuable
  • Someone who has successfully operated in a 0-to-1 or early-stage environment and understands that the playbook is not yet built
  • A genuine hunter who can generate their own pipeline, not just work inbound opportunities
  • Strong experience with land-and-expand / expansion revenue
  • Commercially strategic, but also highly hands-on – someone who can build the strategy and execute it themselves
  • Curious and adaptable: you stay close to where AI and technology are heading and can adapt your sales approach accordingly
  • Comfortable challenging founders, giving feedback, and helping shape the direction of the business
  • Performance-oriented and highly accountable, with the ownership mindset needed to build something from scratch
