Compensation: Base: $100K - $180K
Our client is a fast-growing, venture-backed technology and services company backed by top-tier investors (including Y Combinator, Atomico, and Eurazeo) with over $15M in funding. Operating within a high-value industry, the client provides end-to-end operational and AI-enabled infrastructure solutions that help partners achieve significantly faster processing times, superior service quality, and optimized economics.
The client is seeking a high-caliber Founding Account Manager to join the team in either their New York City or London office. This is an on-site, high-intensity role designed for a commercially minded, relationship-driven professional looking to own key accounts end-to-end. Working closely with executive leadership, the Founding Account Manager will serve as the primary internal quarterback for strategic accounts, driving onboarding, client retention, account expansion, and cross-functional operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Onboarding and Go-Live Execution: Build structured implementation plans, manage project timelines, and coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure seamless client launches
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Operations, Claims, and Product teams to resolve issues rapidly, unblock bottlenecks, and maintain strong client trust
- Account Governance & Cadence: Drive executive updates, oversee SLA compliance, manage escalation pathways, and build tailored account success plans
- Risk Mitigation & Retention: Identify delivery risks early, proactively de-escalate potential issues, and secure ongoing renewals and referenceable client relationships
- Revenue Expansion: Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities across new lines, geographic regions, volume tiers, and program expansions
- Process Optimization: Translate operational learnings into scalable, repeatable playbooks, frameworks, and team routines to support long-term growth

Requirements
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in high-touch, relationship-driven Account Management within B2B core infrastructure, enterprise software, or complex operational services. (Note: Pure Customer Success experience will not be considered for this position)
- Deal Size: Proven track record of managing enterprise accounts valued at $150k+ Annual Contract Value (ACV)
- Target Achievement: Demonstrated history of hitting or exceeding revenue and performance targets within the past 12 months
- Industry Background: Relevant background in InsurTech, FinTech (B2B/B2B2C), RegTech, PropTech, ConstructionTech, LegalTech, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Government Tech sectors. Knowledge of insurance industry mechanics or third-party administration is a strong plus
- Career Stability: Stable employment trajectory, with no more than 3 job moves within the past 5 years
- Location & Work Authorization: Must be based in (or willing to relocate to) London or New York City, with full legal authorization to work in the UK or US without requiring current or future sponsorship
- Workplace Preference: Ability and willingness to work fully on-site in a high-intensity, high-output office environment
