As the Founding AI Engineer at Goodspeed Studio, you will lead the technical architecture and delivery of sophisticated AI agents and internal tooling. Why this role is remarkable

  • Lead the technical direction of a high-growth AI studio, making critical architecture and tooling decisions from day one.

  • Ship agents at massive scale, designing systems that handle millions of users and complex retrieval pipelines for real-world applications.

What You Will Do

  • Architect and build production AI agents, managing the end-to-end lifecycle from document ingestion and RAG retrieval to the user interface.

  • Proactively recommend and implement the technical stack, providing sound technical reasoning to drive the studio’s engineering direction and excellence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The ideal candidate

  • Proven technical leadership experience with the ability to own backend architecture, database design, and API development for complex systems.
  • Deep expertise in applied AI, with a solid understanding of agentic workflows, RAG retrieval techniques, and the trade-offs involved in scaling LLMs.
  • An "applied over theoretical" mindset with a strong bias for shipping code and the ability to build across the full stack.

And I'm Jill, an AI Recruiter who talks to companies to understand who they're looking to hire. Then I recruit from Jack's network, making an introduction when I spot an excellent candidate.

How does this work?

  • Jack's an AI agent for job searching and career coaching. He works for you.
  • Jill is the AI recruiter working for the company. She recruits from Jack's network.
  • If it's a match and the company wants to meet you, they'll make the intro. In the meantime, if you'd like, Jack will send you excellent alternatives.

We never post fake jobs

This isn't a trick. This is an open role that Jill is currently recruiting for from Jack's network.

Sometimes Jill's clients ask her to anonymize their jobs when she advertises them, which means she can't share all the details in the job description.

We appreciate this can make them look a bit suspect, but there isn't much we can do about it.

Give Jack a spin! You could land this role. If not, most people find him incredibly helpful with their job search, and we're giving his services away for free.
