Founding AI Strategy & Transformation Consultant
Location: Remote (UK Preferred) | Open to exceptional global talent
Job Type: Freelance | Part-Time (10–20 hours per week)
Compensation: Monthly Retainer + Project Fees + Performance Bonus

Artificial Intelligence is reshaping every industry. MotionSkills is building a next-generation AI Strategy, Business Transformation, and Workforce Capability consultancy helping organisations unlock practical business value through AI. We're looking for an experienced Founding AI Strategy & Transformation Consultant to help shape our consulting practice, client solutions, and future growth.
About the Role
You'll work with business leaders to identify AI opportunities, design transformation strategies, and develop practical AI solutions that improve productivity, customer experience, and operational performance. You'll also contribute to MotionSkills' consulting methodology, service portfolio, and future direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead AI discovery workshops and executive strategy sessions.
- Identify AI, automation, and digital transformation opportunities.
- Design AI strategies and transformation roadmaps.
- Recommend enterprise AI platforms and implementation approaches.
- Develop proposals, business cases, and executive presentations.
- Support delivery alongside freelance AI specialists.
- Help build MotionSkills' consulting frameworks and AI service portfolio.

What We're Looking For:
Essential
- 5+ years' experience in AI Consulting, Technology Consulting, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Solutions, or Business Consulting.
- Proven experience leading AI or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience advising CEOs, founders, and senior leadership teams.
- Excellent communication, commercial awareness, and problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
Ideal Experience
AI Strategy & Enterprise AI: AI Strategy & Transformation, Enterprise AI Solutions, AI Governance & Adoption.
AI Productivity & Automation: Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, AI Agents, Business Process Automation, n8n, Make, Zapier.
Generative AI: OpenAI / ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, Google Gemini.
CRM & Customer Experience: HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho CRM.
Data & Analytics: Microsoft Power BI, Business Intelligence & Reporting.
