Fabled Labs
Fabled Labs is a specialist AI search consultancy for regulated UK businesses: law firms, barristers' chambers, private healthcare, tech, wealth, energy, and financial services.
People now ask ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity whom to trust before they ever visit a website. We make sure our clients are the answer. Our work covers SEO, AI search, digital PR, and Google Ads.
We are a small, London-based team working with established law firms, chambers, and clinics. We are growing, and we are now hiring the person who will help lead that growth.
The Role in Brief
This is an all-rounder role. You will do a bit of everything: client work, delivery, analysis, content, paid search, PR, and the running of the business.
You do not need to know it all on day one.
We will train you. You will learn every part of Fabled Labs from the ground up, working directly with the founder, Sean O'Dwyer Curran.
The aim is for you to lead the business as it grows. That is why the role comes with equity.
What It Is Like Here
We are a start-up, and we want to be upfront about what that means.
- Processes are light, and you will help build them
- The culture is chaotic at times, but fun
- The pace is fast, and things change often
If you want structure and a predictable week, this is not the role for you. If you want to learn fast and help build something, it is.
What You Will Do
Your job is to take work off the founder, first with support, then on your own. No two weeks will look the same.
Client Work
- Become the day-to-day contact on a growing number of accounts
- Prepare and present monthly performance reports
- Spot problems early and fix them before the client has to ask

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Delivery
- Keep work moving across our specialists: on-page SEO, paid search, PR, data, and development
- Run the weekly task board and chase anything that slips
- Check work before it reaches a client
Hands-On Work
- Learn to do the work yourself: SEO and AI search analysis, content briefs, Google Ads, and PR support
- Use AI tools and our data stack (Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4, Searchable, Google Ads) for first-pass analysis
- Turn data into a clear recommendation, not a spreadsheet
Growing the Business
- Research prospects and help build proposals and pitches
- Write down how we do things, so the business does not depend on one person
- Find better ways of working, then make them happen
Who We Are Looking For
We hire for aptitude and the ability to deliver, not technical skill. SEO and AI search can be taught. Judgement, ownership, and pace cannot. We need someone with a desire to learn.
You have already worked in a professional role, ideally facing clients or customers. You can point to things you delivered, and what changed because of them.
How You Work
- You own your work and see it through, without being chased
- You plan your time well and stay organised when several things need doing at once
- You check your own work and notice the detail others miss
- You care about results, and can show the difference you have made
How You Think
- You pick up new things quickly, and enjoy doing it
- You break down messy problems and make sound decisions
- You spot risks early and raise them at the right time
- You find better ways of doing things, without waiting to be asked
- You think commercially: you ask what something is worth, not just how to do it
