Pioneering Data-Centric Cybersecurity Scale-Up | Founding Business Development Lead | UK | £65–75k Base + 100% OTE + Significant Equity

About the Company:

Our partner, a pioneering UK-based cybersecurity firm, is at the forefront of data-centric Identity & Access Management (IAM) and AI-driven security remediation. Having achieved early traction with their innovative solutions, they are now strategically transitioning from a practitioner-led consulting model to a product-led SaaS organisation. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high-growth scale-up at its foundational stage, offering significant equity, substantial autonomy, and a direct impact on the company's trajectory and product evolution. They are looking for a visionary Founding Sales Director to spearhead their commercial expansion across the UK.

About the Role:

This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned commercial leader eager to build a sales engine from the ground up and drive aggressive Year 1 revenue targets. As the first dedicated commercial hire, you will be instrumental in shaping the company's GTM strategy, influencing the product roadmap, and transitioning a successful consulting model into a robust product-led SaaS organisation. This position suits an entrepreneurial individual with a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, and is passionate about translating complex technical solutions into tangible business value for enterprise clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
