Infyos, the team and our purpose
At Infyos, we're building the supply chain due diligence platform for the global energy industry - starting by helping battery and solar developers manage and mitigate supply chain risk.
Our AI-powered platform combines public and proprietary data to give deep visibility into Tier-N supply chain and red-flag ESG, geopolitical, cyber and regulation risks. With regulation tightening and investor scrutiny rising, we help companies stay ahead of compliance deadlines and de-risk procurement decisions - while accelerating the global transition to clean energy. Read more on our website.
We have a startup-like mindset in the way we work. Expect a place to learn new skills, be creative and take ownership. We believe that by equipping people with the best tools to solve problems, we can tackle the whole world's problems better, together.
We believe in the value of diversity
We're committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and culture from the start. The majority of the team are women and both of our founders come from underrepresented backgrounds. We know climate justice cuts across race, gender, and more, and we welcome applicants from backgrounds that are underrepresented in climate, AI and tech. If there is anything we can do to make our application process more inclusive then please let us know. And donโt hesitate to apply even if you donโt meet every requirement - weโre committed to supporting your growth.

Iโm in my final year doing Economics and I donโt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer โ it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโt need a masters. Letโs look at the ones youโd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The job brief
We're looking for a Founding Business Development Lead who will own our commercial pipeline from first conversation to signed contract. You'll work closely with our cofounders to build and execute a repeatable sales process, represent Infyos at industry events and panels, and close deals with leading renewable energy developers, lenders, and investors.
You'll be ideal for the role if you:
- Are a natural relationship builder โ you can open doors at senior levels and build trust quickly, whether that's a cold outreach, a panel discussion, or a follow-up call
- Are a confident closer โ you enjoy the full sales cycle and know how to move deals forward without being pushy
- Bring structure and discipline โ you keep your pipeline clean, your CRM up to date, and your follow-ups timely
- Are data-driven - you use pipeline and conversion data to make fast, confident decisions and course-correct quickly
- Thrive on ownership โ you're comfortable building a process from scratch and iterating fast when something isn't working
- Are a fast learner โ you can get up to speed on sustainability regulation, supply chain risk, and our customers' world quickly
- Care about impact โ we're here to make a difference and want someone who genuinely shares that mindset
Ideal experience:
- 3+ years in a B2B sales or business development role, ideally in SaaS, climate tech, energy, or supply chain risk data
- Track record of closing deals and hitting revenue targets in a startup or scale-up environment
- Experience defining or refining ICP and go-to-market positioning in a competitive or emerging category
- Comfortable speaking at industry events and representing a brand in public settings
- Strong command of HubSpot - pipelines, dashboards, and data discipline come naturally to you
- Experience selling to or working with renewable energy developers, asset managers, lenders, or corporate sustainability teams is a strong bonus
- Understanding of ESG, renewable energy infrastructure, supply chain risk, or sustainability regulation is also a bonus but not essential - curiosity and a willingness to learn matters more
The role
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and first call through to contract signature
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities across our core ICP: BESS developers, renewable energy asset managers, lenders and investors
- Represent Infyos at industry events, conferences and panels - building brand presence and sourcing leads in the renewable energy and sustainability ecosystem
- Work closely with marketing to convert inbound interest and warm referrals into qualified pipeline
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers' pain points and translate them into compelling pitches and proposals
- Feed customer and prospect insights back into product and marketing to sharpen our positioning and ICP
- Own your pipeline reporting and forecasting, building visibility through HubSpot dashboards, pipeline reviews, and a regular reporting cadence
- Help build and document our scalable sales playbook as we grow from Seed to Series A
