Founding Business Development Lead - PACER (Full time, in-person, London)
PACER is the home of social sport in London. Our app helps people find others to train with, discover clubs and events, and run their sporting lives in one place. We also bring that experience into organisations: a private, branded sports community for each company's people, which we build and run. We're now hiring our first commercial lead to build that side of the business.
The role
We believe the best deals start in person. We're looking for someone who gets energy from being out in London meeting people, and who turns those conversations into partnerships and revenue.
What you'll do
- Own the corporate pipeline from first conversation to signed deal, selling to HR, People and Wellbeing leads at companies
- Get out and meet people: industry events, founder and HR breakfasts, our own community sessions, and the clubs and partners we work with
- Turn our network of clubs, ambassadors, and partners into warm introductions, and build a network of your own
- Shape how we sell: the pitch, the pricing conversations, the proof points
- Feed what you hear from customers straight back into the product
- As the business grows, hire and lead a sales team

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
