About Digitevent

Digitevent is a French event-tech SaaS company headquartered in Paris. Our platform helps organizations manage the full event lifecycle, from registration and invitations to guest management, badge printing, on-site check-in, and mobile event apps.

We work with leading corporate organizations, event agencies, congress organizers, and trade shows across Europe and internationally, including companies such as LVMH, TotalEnergies, L’Oréal, and AXA, as well as major event players such as MCI Group and trade show organizer Comexposium.

After building a strong presence in France and Brazil, we are now expanding internationally, with the UK as one of our key growth markets.

The Role

We are looking for our first commercial hire in the UK. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity for someone who enjoys building a market from the ground up. You will play a central role in developing Digitevent's UK presence, identifying opportunities, building relationships, and turning them into long-term customers.

You will work closely with our leadership and marketing teams in Paris while having significant autonomy to develop the UK market.

Your Mission

Build the UK pipeline

  • Identify and target relevant companies, agencies, and organizations.
  • Develop new business through outbound prospecting, networking, partnerships, and inbound opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through discovery, demonstration, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline and deliver against agreed revenue targets.

Develop the UK market

  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
  • Develop relationships with corporate event teams, event agencies, congress organizers, and other relevant industry stakeholders.
  • Build a strong network across the UK event and MICE ecosystem.
  • Represent Digitevent at relevant industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Commercial track record: Demonstrated ability to generate opportunities, build relationships, and close new business.
  • Event industry knowledge: Experience or strong knowledge of event technology, corporate events, agencies, congresses, venues, or the broader MICE ecosystem.
  • UK market knowledge: Good understanding of the UK B2B market and the ability to identify relevant decision-makers and routes to market.
  • Communication: Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate confidently with customers, partners, and senior stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Comfortable working autonomously, testing approaches, learning quickly, and building processes from scratch.
  • Collaboration: Able to work effectively with a distributed team and collaborate closely with colleagues based in France.
  • Experience in French or European markets is welcome but not required.

What We Offer

  • Founding impact: You will be the first member of our UK commercial team and will have a direct influence on how Digitevent enters and develops the market.
  • Autonomy: You will have significant ownership of your territory, accounts, prospecting strategy, and local network.
  • Close access to leadership: You will work directly with the Head of International Development and regularly collaborate with the founders and the Paris-based teams.
  • Competitive compensation: Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, with a package designed to reward commercial performance.
  • Opportunity for growth: As the UK business develops, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the local team and take on broader responsibilities.

  • Initial onboarding: An initial 3-month onboarding at our Paris headquarters to work closely with the founding and commercial teams.
  • Regular collaboration and travel: Between the UK and Paris.
  • Business travel expenses: Covered.

How to Apply

Please send your CV and a short introduction explaining:

  • Your B2B SaaS or technology sales experience
  • Your experience with the events or MICE industry, if applicable
  • Your knowledge of the UK market
  • How you would approach building Digitevent's commercial presence in the UK

We are looking for someone who wants to build, not simply manage an existing territory. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
