About The Job
Akili Talent is building a new standard for customer experience operations. We help ambitious e-commerce and digital-first brands scale by embedding highly trained African customer experience talent directly into their teams, systems, workflows, and brand voice.
We are looking for a Founding Business Development Partner based in the United Kingdom to help us establish and grow Akili Talent's presence in the UK market.
What You'll Do
- Identify high-potential UK e-commerce, SaaS, DTC, and digital-first brands
- Prospect founders, CEOs, Heads of CX, Operations leaders, and other decision-makers
- Build targeted outbound campaigns through email, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Start conversations and generate qualified opportunities
- Book customer experience assessments and discovery meetings
- Build referral and partnership opportunities
- Maintain a focused, high-quality sales pipeline
- Represent Akili Talent professionally in the UK market

We are looking for a strong sales hunter and commercially minded professional who is confident opening doors, building relationships, and creating opportunities.

You should have:
- Experience in B2B sales, business development, SaaS, e-commerce, customer experience, outsourcing, agencies, or professional services
- Strong knowledge of the UK business landscape
- A proven ability to prospect and generate opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Confidence communicating with founders and senior decision-makers
- The ability to work independently in a remote environment
- An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in building something from the ground up
Existing relationships within UK e-commerce, SaaS, DTC, or digital-first businesses are a strong advantage.
Compensation
This is a commission-only independent contractor opportunity with uncapped earning potential. Our commission structure rewards the revenue you personally generate, including recurring participation on qualifying client accounts and additional performance incentives. Full compensation details will be discussed during the interview.
