Founding Senior BDR

Role

Founding Business Development Representative

Sector

Connectivity Infrastructure / Embedded Fintech Enablement

Client

Embedded Mobile Connectivity Platform (Series A)

Compensation

Competitive

Model

London, hybrid/office-based (2-3 days a week)

Role Overview

We're hiring on behalf of a fast-growing, well-funded connectivity infrastructure company for a Founding BDR to build outbound pipeline into a small, focused list of Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts across fintech, financial services, travel, and aviation. This isn't a high-volume dial and email seat, you'll be working a strategic patch of named enterprise accounts, working directly alongside the company's Directors, with genuine input into how the outbound playbook gets built from the ground up. The business has just raised its Series A and is building out its first enterprise commercial org across the UK and Europe.

What You'll Do

  • Own outbound pipeline creation across a focused list of named strategic accounts, not high volume prospecting
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders across fintech, financial services, travel, and aviation — the buyers who own how connectivity gets embedded into their products
  • Partner directly with Vertical Directors and sales leadership on account mapping, messaging, and qualification
  • Research accounts deeply to build a sophisticated, account-based outbound approach rather than working from a generic script
  • Help shape the outbound playbook itself — process, messaging, tooling — as one of the founding members of the commercial team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
