Founding Chief of Staff & Operations Lead

Overview
We're looking for an entrepreneurial operator to work directly with the founder to turn an early-stage concept into a functioning entertainment and media business. This is not a traditional Chief of Staff or scale-up operations role. You'll be building the operating model, systems, processes and team from the ground up, working out what needs to exist and then making it happen.

- Bringing structure to complex situations
- Coordinate advisers and vendors
- Advise the founder
- Ensure priorities get done
- Involvement across company formation, legal and commercial infrastructure, accounting and tax coordination, IP, budgeting, recruitment, IT, insurance, and general operations
- Building the initial team, including senior content, production, editing, and growth roles
Profile
- Previous experience in an Operational Lead role
- Strong commercial judgement
- Excellent organisation
- Confidence to challenge assumptions constructively
- Comfortable moving between strategy and detail
- Managing specialist advisers
- Taking ownership without needing constant direction
- Media, entertainment, or creator-business experience is useful but not essential
- Able to turn ambiguity into clear priorities and drive things through to completion
