About Us
The Geopolitics of Business · London (Remote)
The Geopolitics of Business is a podcast, convening and intelligence platform built for: CEOs, investors, and the operators rebuilding the global economy in response to geopolitical and technological shifts.
Guests have included José Manuel Barroso (former President of the European Commission), Dame Fiona Murray (Chair of the NATO Innovation Fund), Anthony Scaramucci (founder of SkyBridge Capital), and Sir Nick Clegg (former President of Global Affairs at Meta).
Three years in, the platform (the podcast, a private Salon Series of Chatham House-rule dinners, and an Intelligence research arm) is proven.
The Role
A founding role (fractional to start) working directly with founder Sam Gyimah on advertising and partnerships and the connective tissue between Sam, our communications and logistics partner, and the production team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The role suits two kinds of people: an entrepreneurial person with the commercial instincts to build commercial relationships spanning the whole platform.
What You'll Do
- Build the advertising and partnership model leveraging existing relationships and working with the founder to forge new relationships.
- Identify and approach institutions that sit naturally alongside our audience, taking early conversations to a structured proposal.
- Act as the connective tissue between the founder, our communications and logistics partner, and the production team, so commercial commitments get properly scoped and delivered.
- Help the founder prioritize across a fast-growing platform: track commitments, chase what's stalled, keep the moving parts organized.
- Support the delivery of the Salon Series and represent the platform at flagship convenings.

What We're Looking For
- Commercial and entrepreneurial nous and a desire to build something genuinely significant.
- Experience building a paying, sponsored, or membership network (ideally events-based), or a genuine entrepreneurial track record.
- Comfortable being the connective tissue across multiple workstreams without needing a large team or formal authority.
- High trust and high discretion, with genuine comfort in rooms with senior principals, investors, and policymakers.
- Organized, detail-oriented, strong written communication.
- Genuine interest in geopolitics, markets, and where the two intersect.
The Upside
This is a founding role, and the economics are built to match. You'll hold a genuine share of the economic upside you help create, direct participation in the value you build, not a flat rate for delivering it.
