About GII
General Intelligence Infrastructure is developing a network of modular AI data centres at powered industrial sites. Our development focus spans the UK, Nordics and US. Alongside the physical infrastructure, we are developing Forge to connect site intelligence, development decisions and operating knowledge across the network.
The Role
We are looking for a Founding Commercial Director to build GII's customer pipeline and win the contracts that shape our first deployments.
Working directly with the founder, you will turn conversations with AI companies, cloud providers and enterprise buyers into defined requirements, commercial proposals and customer commitments. You will help decide which customers we serve, what we offer and where we build.
This is an early senior appointment with substantial responsibility for the direction of the business. You will personally lead outreach, discovery, negotiation and closing while building a repeatable commercial process.
What You Will Do
- Identify and engage buyers of GPU capacity, dedicated clusters and inference services.
- Build relationships with technical decision-makers, procurement teams and budget owners.
- Establish customers' workload, capacity, location, performance, security, timing and commercial requirements.
- Develop pricing, proposals and capacity agreements with the founder and technical lead, linking customer commitments to achievable delivery plans and economics.
- Own the sales process from first contact through negotiation, contracting and the handover into delivery.
- Develop channel and technology partnerships that create qualified customer opportunities.
- Maintain a clear pipeline, forecast and account plan, using customer feedback to guide site selection and product development.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
