Phare Labs makes Phare C1, a smart smoke alarm that’s actually…smart. It’s not the kind that screams at your toast. It’s the kind that knows when to stay quiet, so you can trust it when it’s loud.
Our mission is to make hundreds of millions of homes around the world safer. We’re building something that matters, we’re growing very quickly, and we’re looking for someone to help bring our story to life. Sound like you? Keep reading.
The Role
We’re hiring a Founding Content Producer to own content from end-to-end. You’ll start with “what should we make?” and finish with assets that are ready to publish to our website, digital ad channels, and social media.
This role is hands-on, high-ownership, and high-impact. You’ll make decisions and execute on them, working directly with our founders to create content that shapes the growth trajectory of the company.
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to own content from start to finish, planning, shooting, and editing to a high standard.
- Proven experience creating content professionally, ideally for a consumer brand, tech startup, or agency with hands-on production work.
- Sharp instincts for what performs on both organic and paid social.
- Comfort shooting solo as well as briefing and directing others where needed.
- Experienced in Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop,...) or equivalent.
- High conscientiousness, with strong “this is what I said”<->”this is what I did” alignment.
- Based in or able to be in London regularly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
