An ecommerce-led adventure travel business is investing in its data capability and hiring its first dedicated Data Scientist. The company helps customers discover and book curated adventure experiences globally through a digital platform, with Data already playing an important role across Product and Marketing. This is a genuine greenfield opportunity with strong stakeholder buy-in and significant scope to influence how Data Science is applied across the business. You'll work closely with Product and Marketing leaders to drive measurable commercial outcomes.

This role focuses on modelling, experimentation, customer behaviour and product analytics. You'll have the opportunity to build the foundations of Data Science while directly influencing acquisition, conversion and retention strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead A/B testing and experimentation initiatives across Product and Marketing
- Build machine learning and statistical models to predict customer and booking behaviour
- Improve customer acquisition, conversion, retention and engagement performance
- Develop robust frameworks around experiment design, validation and measurement
- Partner with Product and Marketing stakeholders to drive commercial decisions
- Apply practical AI tools to accelerate analytical workflows and business impact
- Identify new opportunities for personalisation, pricing and customer intelligence

- Salary Range: £70,000-£90,000
- Working Model: Fully remote
