π London β New York City
π½ Fancy a move to New York?
A London-based fintech startup is planting its flag in New York - and they're looking for an engineer to make the move with them. Big ownership, big market, big city. π
This is a genuine zero-to-one opportunity at a well-backed startup that's already live with clients, backed by serious investors, and solving a problem that's been broken for decades.
Company:
A well-funded fintech automating a critical but largely manual process inside financial services. Already live with clients and growing fast. Backed by institutional investors, with a founding team carrying serious pedigree from top-tier finance and tech.
The Role:
This is a founding engineer role - reporting directly to the CTO. No layers, no bureaucracy. This could suit someone with as little as 1-2 years of experience - what matters far more than years on a CV is the right mindset, strong fundamentals, and a track record of real ownership (or wanting it) in high-stakes environments.

Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
